Take a full-day tour from Sarajevo, the capital and largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina, to experience the amazing history and historic landmarks of Mostar, Konjic, and Vrelo Bune.
Mostar, located to the south of Sarajevo, is a bustling place with a fascinating history and exquisite architecture. Visit the old market and see Mostar’s old bridge. You’ll pass through the scenic countryside and mountain passes en route.
In Konjic you’ll cross the old pass that links the harsher, colder northern area of Bosnia with the sunny and warm southern area of Herzegovina.
This excursion will also take you to the springs at Vrelo Bune. The strongest springs in Europe has an output of more than 45,000 liters per second. Vrelo Bune is also home to the most famous Dervish tekke, or monastery, in the Balkans.
See lavender plantations and vineyards and learn why it’s said that Herzegovina is the place where it never snows, and where it’s never cold!
